DigitalThink Builds Custom E-Learning Courseware for Allmerica's Advanced Technology Group

Fortune 500 Insurance and Financial Services Holding Company to Train Employees and Partners on Software Productivity Methodology

SAN FRANCISCO, August 18, 2003 - DigitalThink, Inc. (Nasdaq: DTHK), the leader in custom e-learning for Fortune 1000 companies, today announced that it will design, develop, and deliver custom online courseware to teach an advanced software methodology to Allmerica Financial Corporation (NYSE:AFC) employees, business partners and consultants.

The first course, which has been successfully rolled out, teaches a high-level understanding of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) methodology. Additional courses will cover productivity management and software engineering, and will replace current instructor-led training. The entire curriculum is targeted at improving the quality and efficiency of the software development cycle.
